PLEASE JOIN SFHAC AT THE 2010 HOUSING HERO AWARDS!
Each year, the San Francisco Housing Action Coalition bestows its Housing
Hero Award on exceptional individuals recognizing their commitment to creating,
advocating, and promoting housing solutions for all San Franciscans.
This year's Housing Hero Awards will honor the enormous contributions made
by three exceptional members of the housing community that turned the Hunters
Point Shipyard project, one of the largest and most ambitious in San Francisco's
history, into a reality. The recent approval of this landmark project by the
Board of Supervisors means we can now turn our attention from an idea to actual
construction, thanks to the extraordinary efforts and teamwork of Kofi Bonner,
Michael Cohen, and Supervisor Sophie Maxwell.
